Kay Battan, of Letchworth Garden City, Herts, applied a large scallop border punch to create the front edge on this card made for a friend’s 40th wedding anniversary.
The design is repeated on both long edges of a smaller white insert. Peel-off panels using the same coloured card are raised with foam pads for effect and for a splash of colour miniature red roses and a ribbon bow are added.
This brightly-coloured card was sent in by Mrs Schofield. The pretty floral paper on the card front is bright and funky and the card flower decorated with glitter glue provides a great focal point.
Karen has written to Making Cards saying how beautiful she thought the papers were that were included in the April 2011 edition and sent in this card as an example of her work using the Maria Maidment papers from that issue.
