Star card this month is Jill Emburey's pretty design using peel-offs.
Silver flower peel-offs were mounted onto pink and then silver holographic card. They were attached to mottled paper and lilac card which was then attached to the card front. A silver peel-off greeting was mounted in a similar way and secured to the card front with small flower brads. Pink ribbon completed the look.
This brightly-coloured card was sent in by Mrs Schofield. The pretty floral paper on the card front is bright and funky and the card flower decorated with glitter glue provides a great focal point.
Karen has written to Making Cards saying how beautiful she thought the papers were that were included in the April 2011 edition and sent in this card as an example of her work using the Maria Maidment papers from that issue.
