Special shape from a template
The star card this month was designed by Norma Cheesman. A template was used to cut and fold the basic card that comprises two pieces linked to reveal a three-dimensional inner when opened.
Pale background paper was used behind the oval aperture inside the card and the same paper appears as a strip on the front. Both the card front and inside were decorated with stamped/cut out dragonflies and gold border peel-offs.
Matching vine images were stamped either side of the internal aperture and various parts were highlighted with gold glitter glue.
