The free gifts from the January 2010 issue of Making Cards were used to make this pretty card by Sharon Elton.
Backing papers cover the card front and circle of the spinner in the pink ready-made card blank from Readicut online.
Sharon used a circle punch to fix to the centre of the circle, with a topper in the middle. To finish the card a greeting was added to the top right corner and pink and clear stick-on gems decorate the topper and below the greeting.
This brightly-coloured card was sent in by Mrs Schofield. The pretty floral paper on the card front is bright and funky and the card flower decorated with glitter glue provides a great focal point.
Karen has written to Making Cards saying how beautiful she thought the papers were that were included in the April 2011 edition and sent in this card as an example of her work using the Maria Maidment papers from that issue.
This stunning art deco-themed card was sent in by Mrs Patterson.
