Contrasting colours

Using contrasting colours can create very impressive looking cards as Catherine Robertson from Perth has discovered.

Here she has taken a light pink card and cut a dark burgundy piece of card about 2cm narrower. Using compass cutters Catherine cut a semi circle both at the top and bottom of the burgundy card.

One semi circle was cut to the left and one to the right and then each corner of the card punched with a corner star shape.

She then stuck the burgundy card to the pink card with double sided sticky tape, folded back the semi circles and stuck them down with sticky pads. Small dots were stuck on the folded back parts of the semi circles and stickers and embellishments completed the card.
