This clever card was sent in by Mrs Linda King. Linda has created this beautiful 3D card from purple pearlescent card.
An oval aperture has been created in the centre with a highly decorative edge and two butterflies, created from parchment, sit behind.
Coordinating purple glitter has been carefully applied to highlight the butterflies’ detailed wings.
Karen has written to Making Cards saying how beautiful she thought the papers were that were included in the April 2011 edition and sent in this card as an example of her work using the Maria Maidment papers from that issue.
